What is the license?
Do whatever lol (?should i write a licence somewhere?)
SO is it CC0 (public domain)?
If yes, you should add the license into metadata for the asset packs:
"Edit asset pack->Metadata->Release Info->License for assets" It will increase the size of audience that will be able to find your art
could i just put it in as a .txt or .md file in the folder?
Yeah it would be good but you should add metadata so your music will appear on a special page where all the assets with the license...
